Rental Agreement

1. Parties

This Rental Agreement ("Agreement") is between Cratezy LLC ("Cratezy", "we", "us") and the customer renting equipment ("Renter", "you").

2. Rented Equipment

You are renting reusable moving crates, dollies, and related supplies as described in your booking confirmation. All equipment remains the property of Cratezy at all times.

3. Rental Period & Fees

• Weekly rate: rental fee charged per week per crate (see your booking confirmation for the exact rate)
• Storage rate: $1 per cubic foot per month for valet storage
• Trip fee: one-time delivery and pickup fee, charged at booking
• Late fees: $5 per crate per day beyond the agreed return date

4. Equipment Care

• Use crates only for moving and storing household or office items
• Do not exceed the 50-pound weight limit per crate
• Do not store hazardous, flammable, perishable, or illegal items
• Keep crates indoors and away from water damage
• Stack no more than 6 crates high

5. Damage & Replacement

Normal wear (scratches, scuffs, light staining) is expected and not charged. Damage requiring repair or replacement carries a $25-per-crate replacement fee. Lost or unreturned crates are billed at full replacement cost.

6. Return Conditions

• All crates must be empty and reasonably clean at pickup
• Driver will perform a quick visual inspection at pickup
• Any damaged or missing crates will be noted at pickup and billed within 7 days

7. Cancellation

You may cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before scheduled delivery for a full refund. Inside 24 hours, the trip fee is non-refundable but rental fees can be cancelled.

8. Liability

Cratezy is not responsible for the contents of crates while in your possession. You are responsible for any property damage caused by improper crate use (e.g., overloading, water damage from outdoor storage). For high-value items, we recommend separate moving insurance.

9. Permitted Use

Crates may not be used for commercial transport without our written consent. Subletting or transferring rented equipment is prohibited.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Disputes are resolved in Dallas County, Texas.
