How big are the crates?

Our standard crates measure 27" × 17" × 12" (about 2.5 cubic feet). They're stackable, sturdy, and hold about the same as a medium cardboard box — but they won't fall apart.

How long can I rent the crates?

Weekly or monthly. Pick what fits your timeline. Need longer? Extend any time from your Cratezy account — no penalty.

Are the crates sanitized?

Every crate is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between rentals. We take hygiene seriously.

What if I break a crate?

Accepted Answer

Scratches and minor scuffs are normal use — no charge. Crates with cracks, holes, or damage beyond use carry a $25-per-crate replacement fee. We inspect everything at pickup; treat them normally and you're fine.

Can I use the crates for storage?

Yes. We offer valet storage at $1 per cubic foot per month. We'll keep your packed crates in our climate-controlled DFW warehouse and return them when you need them back.

How fast can a pickup truck get to me?

Most pickups dispatch within 15–30 minutes of booking. You'll see a live ETA on the map as soon as a driver accepts your job.

What vehicles can I book?

Pickup truck (from $39), cargo van (from $49), or box truck (from $89). The booking screen suggests the right size based on what you're moving.

Do drivers help me load and unload?

Yes — choose "I need help loading" or "Two-person crew" when you book. Solo drivers can also help on a case-by-case basis; tip accordingly.

How is the price calculated?

Base fare + distance + time + any add-ons. You see the full price before you tap "Book pickup" — there are no mileage surprises.

When am I charged?

Your card is pre-authorized when you book and charged only after delivery. If the trip is cancelled before pickup, the hold drops off automatically.

Can I cancel or reschedule?

Cancel or reschedule for free up to 24 hours before your scheduled delivery (rentals) or before driver accept (pickup). Changes inside that window may incur a $25 fee.
